He hasn't thrown up since yesterday *knocks on wood* and is drinking water at regular intervals, so hopefully he'll be all okay again in a few days. Fingers crossed :)

I'm still kind of worried, though, even if serious infections and the like were ruled out right away. Yep, you do get VERY attached to the little monsters. :)
